I’m in my 21st year of teaching. I have taught students from K-Higher Ed and have loved each of my positions for different reasons BUT my passion lies with the elementary kiddos. I’m a big Cubs fan I’m a remarried widow I have 2 children of my own and 1 stepchild. My topics and research interests are: cross-curricular activities and using literacy strategies to promote comprehension, and engagement.
