This fun and upbeat activity session will be geared for the K-6 student. Engaging in activities that spark interest, cultivate joy, and promote lifelong participation all contribute to the development of physical literacy.  In fact, physical literacy is the gateway to physical activity! In this session, concepts of physical literacy will be highlighted AND participants will experience a new and exciting resource; Focus on FUNdamentals, that includes a collection of 90 top-notch, tried-and-tested activities for all ages. The activities have been carefully chosen to improve competence, increase confidence, boost motivation and of course, add more FUN and enjoyment to your program! Come participate in the skill-based, lead-up, sport-specific, and cooperative activities that are organized into three sections for easy planning and designed as durable 5 x 7 cards for portability. Then, use the warm-up, lesson plan, and cool-down sections to create thousands of combinations of lessons OR use the activities individually to get your students moving!
