Children with visual impairments are being included into physical education now more than ever!  Many general physical education teachers are being expected to know how to include them into their classes. Come to this dynamic session to get the latest on inclusive equipment, adaptations to popular units, the rules for blind sports like beep baseball and goalball, and free resources such as books, videos, curricula and sports camps!

Dr. Lauren Lieberman is a Distinguished Service Professor at The College at Brockport. She teaches Graduate and Undergraduate courses in Adapted Physical Education. She founded Camp Abilities an educational sports camp for children with visual impairments now replicated all over the world. She has won the" Professional of the Year Award" from The Adapted Physical Activity Council, the R. Tait McKenzie Award from SHAPE America, and The Access Award from the American Foundation of the Blind.
