What are "Plagnets" and "Gamifaction?"  This session will examine the powerful impact that Plickers magnets (plagnets), self-paced progressions and gamification can have on learning. You’’ll experience fun “gamified” activities that maximize student engagement and ownership while offering differentiation through voice and choice. You’ll gain a better understanding of how Plagnets work, and how easily they tie into almost any cognitive, affective or psychomotor assessment need.
This will be a hybrid lecture with activity presentation. You’ll leave with activity ideas, resources and the ability to introduce these concepts to your students next week!
Objective One: Discuss all things plagnets.
Objective Two: Examine how gamification works in education.
Objective Three: Introduce gamification activities that integrate plagnets and self-paced progressions.
