Murray Wallace is a middle school physical education teacher from Erie Colorado, the SHAPE America Central District MS PE teacher of the year 2019 and SHAPE Colorado 2017 MS PE teacher of the year. Originally from Scotland, his past careers in construction management and professional rugby did little to prepare him for middle school kids in the USA! A passionate physical educator and advocate for quality PE his focus is on ALL students learning to take care of themselves so no one else has to. He is married to Julie, also an educator, and they are kept busy traveling globally and by their dog Rye. Murray is a member of the board for SHAPE Colorado and also, formerly, a coach educator with USA and World Rugby.
