VJ Stanley is a dedicated advocate for children and sports. A multi-sport high school athlete, he was the youngest coach in the history of Section V High School Hockey and a national speaker to USA Hockey and US Lacrosse. With 21 years of collegiate coaching experience, he is also the author of three books on coaching.VJ founded "Balanced Excellence" as an expression of his personal commitment to long-term athletic development, mental health, and the pure enjoyment of playing youth sports for fun and pleasure. His mission is to engage children through youth sports by having them play with Balanced Excellence.
